A Master Key System is one where more than one key is designed to open locks depending on the sort of access you want to give the key holder. A typical key system includes:- Grand Master Key, working every lock in the master key system. Usually held by the facility manager.
- Master Keys, working a few locks in an area or suite. Possibly all the locks in a particular department of a business. These keys are usually held by department managers.
